Rubber plant is a species of plant which is native to Indonesia and India. It is commonly used worldwide as ornamental plant. Rubber plant needs bright sunlight, but rubber plant hates hot temperature. Rubber plant has high resistant to drought, but prefer humidity.
Some people think that rubber plant is a jungle plant which used to rain. They might end up giving too much water for the plant. Over watering your rubber plant may cause damages, attracts pests, rot, and disease. To avoid over watering, it is recommended for you to use a well draining container with good soil.
Rubber plants grow quickly and you will need to move them to larger pots or containers. You can try using some organic fertilizer one or two times a month. Over watering may cause their leaves to change color into yellow, so just give them little water but enough.
